I wanted to try this service and cancelled it after a week since I didn't like what I got. So my service was active only for a week. I was then told it would take 30 days to cancel the service. I then got billed for 7 days of active service and 30 days of disconnection. Why is Sonic ripping off people with misinformation? Why should a customer be punished for trying out their service? How is a customer responsible for something that takes a long time on Sonic side? I am going to get legal help about this unless I get my money back soon. Total RIPOFF.

I would double check about being charged for the extra 30 days. Sounds like you were mistakenly misinformed. This would be the case if you had the product for more than 30 days though. I hope everything works out here.

Unfortunately, this is a technical limitation of the FTTN service. This information is something that should be disclosed during sign up. If that wasn't the case, that's something we would like to know so that we can look into it. If you send me a private message with your username, I'd be happy to take a look.
