My home alarm system does not work over my new Sonic Fusion line.

I converted my land line phone service and internet over to Sonic Fusion today. However, my home alarm system, when triggered, does not connect with the central alarm monitoring center. I do get dial tone at the alarm panel and I can place a call using a handset at the alarm panel biscuit block, but the alarm panel does not appear to be able to reach the central alarm monitoring center.

When I switch back to the AT&T POTS line, the alarm system, when triggered, "does" connect to the central alarm monitoring center. I switched back to the Sonic line and the alarm, when triggered, does not connect to central monitoring center.

When testing the alarm system I triggered the alarm and always let it sound for 2 minutes, minimum, then called the monitoring center to see if they received the alarm. The alarm panel is an ADEMCO VISTA 10SE. I use an alarm monitoring service called AlarmMonitoringService.Com.

Any thoughts or solutions to this problem?

That's pretty strange. It appears as though you're using our POTS service, so there really shouldn't be much of a difference between AT&T and our line.

Have you spoken to your alarm service regarding this issue?

Don't alarm panels have a cut-out relay to ensure that any call in progress is disconnected? Does simply moving the plug from one carrier to another properly accommodate that?
