Here is my scenario: I have 2 domain names registered and wish to have 2 separate web sites hosted with my Sonic account. My question, which seems unclear is if Basic and Value will support this type of feature.

I don't suspect a large amount of traffic initially, so the Value hosting option seems best suited to my needs while the Basic is far more than what I need. However, its unclear if the routing for 2 different sites under one hosting solution is feasible.

If it is possible, I'm looking for any specifics on configuring the hosting services to handle such routing.

Thank you.

The hosting options are set up to serve *one* website at a time - you can certainly point any number of domains at either the IP for Value Hosting or the individual IP's handed out for Basic Hosting. This is due to the "shared" nature of our hosting platform.

You could, to a certain degree, route page views around to different parts and behaviors of the underlying site based upon the domain/URL using a combination of Apache .htaccess files and/or scripts such as PHP. Unfortunately, this is beyond my area of expertise, so I cannot provide specifics.

Joe - Thank you for the reply. That definitely helps and confirms what I was suspecting would be possible.

Appreciate the help!
