DESCRIPTION OF PROBLEM:
Faxline doesn't receive faxes sent from some fax servers.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION
Faxline shows it was 'pinged' by a sending fax server (Log shows the correct caller id and caller number), but no fax is received.
This problem doesn't happen with desktop paperfeed faxes, nor from computers that 'print' to analog/dsl lines (yes, I've tested both...)
EXPECTED BEHAVIOUR
Faxline should receive faxes from any fax source (desktop paperfeed fax, computer via dsl, web-based fax service, fax server)
OBSERVED BEHAVIOUR
Faxline shows faxes sent from fax servers 'ping' Faxline (correct caller id and caller number appear in the log)
but Faxline does not receive the incoming fax (Log's NOTES column shows 0 pages received, and thanks btw for making that small improvement!)
COMMENTS
1. Okay, You're site's clear:Faxline is experimental. That being said, since it's a Beta, please provide a list of known bugs or limitations. Please?
2. Faxes may be obsolete in the Tech world, but the government, doctors and lawyers still rely on faxes from fax servers rather than e-Mail. Regrettably, these are the businesses that are trying to exchange paperwork with me. Their fax servers seem to work for both sending and receiving. Please, can you get faxline to do the same?
3. This is the same problem I reported in May this year.
