Send A Fax hanging on transmission

I am having trouble with Send A Fax; I've attempted to send a fax (pdf, about 2MB) twice now since Friday afternoon, and the fax after queuing hangs permanently with a message of "transmitting - Sending fax (attempt 1 of 6)". It never retries, and never fails. I'd really like to be able to at the very least know that the fax is failing to send. Any thoughts?
