I am having a continued problem receiving FAXs from a particular number. The sonic log shows as "pages received", with no number, and there is no FAX information received. Unfortunately this particular number is an important customer (Sonoma County) and the machine in question successfully sends FAXs frequently to others beside my number. I receive plenty of FAXs successfully, but not from this one customer.

I see this problem posted several other times on this forum, with no real fix other than look at the logs (which I have done).

Any clues where to go from here to debug this?

Thanks

Same problem here.
Will Sonic.net please support your fax receive service, via testing reception from real fax machines ??
Thanks.

(EDIT: p.s. That means don't just send a fax from your computer back in to Sonic, i.e. you have to deliberately test between dissimilar systems and make sure to include real fax machines on the sending end. Thanks)

Is there any way someone at sonic could help here? An unreliable FAX line is not really acceptable ...... thanks

I continue experiencing the same problems with FaxLine and am looking now at a paid alternative. It is too bad since I really like the service when it works, but I understand it is "labs" and unsupported. I hope it works well at some point.

Question: is there a way to configure my FaxLine number to call-forward to my new, paid FAX number?

It would be great to not have to change FAX numbers with all clients.
