using FTP

I am wanting to upload photos to my storage on Sonic. I have installed filezilla. I entered ftp.sonic.net in the server address field. It auto filled 14147 in the port. When I hit ok I get;

Trying to reconnect in 5 seconds
Error: Connection to server lost...


Over and over again.

This seems harder than it should be. Reading thru past forum posts has not pointed me in the right direction.

Hello,

Try leaving the port blank, or using port 21. You'll also want to make sure to log in with your Sonic username and password.

* 14147 is the default port for admin access on the server version of FileZilla

It wouldn't take '0' so I did 21.

I tried that and got this;

I do not get a request to log in to Sonic.

I just noticed something from the output you pasted - is there any chance you're using FileZilla *Server*? You'll want to be using FileZilla Client to connect - the server version is for folks who want to serve up files from their own computer via FTP.
