Hopefully, Sonic management is following these threads...

I talked to Sonic support this morning. My Sonic account-level/account name is an email address that, apparently, cannot be changed. I'm getting spam at that address and I want to change it.

Graymail/spam catchers are basically useless; so don't even get me started on that subject!

It seems to me that Sonic should use account numbers for their subscribers instead of an email address that can't be changed.

Have you considered creating an email-only account? Most levels of service (Fusion Broadband, Web Hosting, etc.) including free mailboxes.

Hi John,

That's what I have, an email-only account...But the "account-level" email address is used as an
account-number would normally be used, and it can't be changed. All my other (3 other slots) email
addresses, are changeable/deleteable.
