Hello,

We can't speak about cellular network speeds since we don't offer that type of service. If you are in an area that has our Fiber Optic network, you will get symmetrical Gigabit speeds. You'll need to plug your address into our availability tool at sonic.com/availability to see which type of Fiber is offered in your area. We have 1Gb Upload/download and in some areas, we have 10Gb Upload/download. We hope this information helps. Take care.

I’m seeing 7000Mbps to 8300Mbps upload speed on Sonic 10Gbps fiber when testing. At these speeds, testing bottlenecks and client issues can make it tough to really see the actual speed. For locations with our 1Gbps service, upload speeds are around 900Mbps of throughput.

More on this: Payload throughput will alway be lower than the link speed itself due to protocol overhead and error correction. So for 1Gbps services you can expect a bit over 900Mbps and for 10Gbps services it’ll be a bit north of 8000Mbps. Download and upload speeds are symmetric on all Sonic fiber services.
