Tech Support has said AT&T has a widespread outage. Our service has been down since Monday Oct 3 at Noon. No estimated time to repair and no tech will be dispatched to our location while this “outage” is in effect.
ATT is having issues in Redwood City, too. Not sure whether they're related to the SF problems.
Since Saturday, connection attempts to sites can take more than a minute or fail entirely. Once a connection is established, throughput is normal. Other ATT fiber customers report similar experiences on Nextdoor.
I'm not seeing any errors on my router or ATT's gateway. Weirdly, ping, traceroute, DNS behavior is normal for the few Internet sites I checked.
