I've been excitedly pre-ordered for fiber here on Lee Street for a while. I missed my construction monthly update email, but a friend nearby got his. When I re-checked my availability online, I got this message: Did something happen with construction? Am I off the list now?

Got some helpful info from the engineering team via sales/support. Apparently there was a denial in permitting to run fiber on the poles to my location. Probably because the poles need to be updated? (I’m far from an expert in this, but that seems plausible in this neighborhood).
Does anyone have experience dealing with CPUC to get poles updated?

Update on my situation here.

I was able to get through the CPUC who informed me that there was an issue with access to a PG&E pole. This was a little surprising since a new pole was installed right in front of my house last fall and the contractors used Sonic permit signs to block the street parking.

I got through the PG&E support who directed me to contact the “joint pole agency” via email for more information about the access issue or reason for denial. I’m still holding out hope that there’s a quick resolution available.

Does anyone else have insight or experience with access to PG&E poles? Is there someone else I can lobby?
