Mailman Archives delete without purging

I want to delete the oldest archives of one of my mailman lists without losing the archives for the current year.

I don't see a way to do that from the administrative tools. It's either on or off.

Is there a way I can do this or do I need to request assistance.

I have already looked at the self-help files on sonic.net and online at the mailman wiki, eg., http://wiki.list.org/pages/viewpage.act ... Id=4030681 before posting here.

But I do not have privileges to do any of these things. I just want to remove archives (some start at 2004) but leave only 2012, 2013 intact.

Support has removed those nine years of archives for me. I now have it where I want it to be.
