I have been a Fusion customer for over 1 year, when I ordered Fusion no one questioned what equipment I would be using or suggested I would need newer equipment or an installation kit or filters. I was with AT&T when I switched and averaged 185KB/sec down and 40KB/sec up after switching to Fusion I get 110KB/sec down and 80KB/sec up. Why did my down load speed drop to almost half and upload doubled? Also I was limited by my AT&T account at 1.5mb, but Fusion is supposed to offer 20mb? I have no idea how far to the CO, something in the system stops it from finding my address correctly. I had to call sales and let them know I already had DSL when trying to switch to Sonic because the automatic system said it wasn't available to me.
From what I have read while here part of the problem is my equipment, my netgear router is almost ten years old and my modem is probably 5 years older that. If I understand correctly it would have worked fine if I had Sonic DSL but not with Fusion, seems somebody could have mentioned that.
Now like alot of other people I have to decide to rent equipment or get my own??? One more thing, we had DSL installed such a long time ago our DSL filters are on the outside in the phone box. At some point AT&T installed a seperate DSL box on the outside of my house only it's not located near the phone box. I'll have to look and see if there connected, they both might have filters in them, I'll let you know.

You should give us a ring in support. It looks like your line is pretty badly attenuated, which may just be a function of your loop length, but probably isn't your modem's fault. Switching to an ADSL2+ modem isn't likely the answer here.
