WordPress multisite subdomain

We currently have WordPress on sacc-sf.org using Value Hosting. Then we created a subdomain multisite using the instructions at http://codex.wordpress.org/Create_A_Network.

In the WordPress Dashboard, we created a new site called "test". So the new site is http://test.sacc-sf.org which currently does not exist. How do we create this new subdomain site or point to it?

We can manually set up an additional Value Host configuration for each subdomain you want to set up, or you could upgrade to a Basic Hosting setup, point all your subdomains to its IP (Value Hosting is name-based, Basic Hosting has a dedicated IP that any number of names can point to), and divvy things up using .htaccess from there.
