Range Extender and iPhone 5

Just a quick note to say I have had trouble with the access range within my home since switching to Sonic.net which was amplified---no pun intended---when I purchased an iPhone 5 which has a TERRIBLE antenna. This is not so much a Sonic issue as it is an iPhone 5 issue and a location issue re the placement of my home against the "dark" side of a hill on the very, very edge of what Sonic can reliably service. Why this matters with the iPhone 5 particularly: data retrieval was intermittent but voice was nonexistent. I discovered through Verizon that when using a range extender with them you are actually connecting via VOIP (my Sonic.net signal) instead of a cell tower. So...after much consultation with Verizon, Sonic, Apple et al I purchased an Amped Wireless-N 600mw Range Extender. Again, GREAT customer service---thank you Cedric---and now i have the best Sonic.net voice and data throughout my home I can get. That means while I sometimes have quick lapses from an inconsistent connection, again, not a Sonic issue but a line/location and iPhone 5 antenna issue, the signal quickly returns and I have service throughout my home. Very Cool. Can highly recommend the Range Extender to anyone who has a problem similar to mine.

Which cellular/femtocell range extender are you using with your Verizon iPhone 5? Is it the SCS-2U01 or SCS-26UC4 (both manufactured by Samsung)?

I only get 1-2 bars at home and work with my iPhone 5 so I was considering getting one of them (we have an AT&T femtocell at work, which worked great when I had an AT&T iphone, not so much since I switched to Verizon).

Their site tells me $249.00, but that's without attempting to game any of their incentive systems.
