I just used "Send a fax" to send a fax to my own fax number (to see how the fax would appear to the recipient). Since I'd created my own cover sheet, I included it in the PDF, and did not check the "include cover letter" option.

Even though I'd logged into one of the subaccounts on my account, the "from" number shows as 707-583-7707, not my actual Faxline number.

Since I have to log into an account, shouldn't the fax server know my Faxline number and use that as the sender?

The tools don't consider a Faxline owned by the primary account to belong to any of the sub-accounts so you'd need to specify the 'From' number if you wanted to. I wouldn't worry about it though, it only affects the fax header.

Understood, thanks. I just assumed that if there's only one Faxline on the entire account, that the tools would figure that number applies to all.
