What exactly are all the quotas?

For a basic residential account, the page
https://www.sonic.com/home-products states "15 email accounts, 1GB of storage". However, according to
https://members.sonic.net/websites/pers ... b_hosting/ , "Mini Hosting comes with no additional storage, transfer or mailboxes. So if you have a DSL account that entitles you to 250 megs of storage, 1 gig of transfer, and 15 mailboxes, those resources will be shared between your Mini Hosting account and your other usage of your account."
What explicitly are the limits for mini hosting? The page says "if you have a DSL account that entitles you..." but I can't find any page that states the limits without the "if" the way the limits are spelled out for personal hosting.
So is the total storage (e-mail + web hosting + ftp hosting + shell account) quota 1GB, 250MB, or something else?

A standard Sonic account with connectivity service will have 1.25GB of storage (250MB automatically + 1GB for the mailbox associated with their username) and 1GB of transfer (the default for an account with no additional hosting services).
Personal Hosting is one step up and will let you register a domain (first year of registration on us) and will add 2.5GB of storage as well as 10GB of transfer. Like Mini Hosting, this service is provided for free - but you will be charged the registration renewal of the domain after the first year.

I'm guessing this is 1GB total for all mailboxes rather than 1GB for each of 15 mailboxes. And is the 1GB strictly for email or does "1.25GB of storage" apply to all usage including web page? (The terms for Personal, Value, and Basic hosting don't state that a certain amount is for a user's mail.)
The knowledgebase article says "if you have a DSL account that entitles you to 250MB of storage..." rather than explicitly stating that a standard DSL account has such and such amounts of storage.

The best way to know what your current disk quota is taking all account services into consideration is to look at the
Historical Disk Usage Member Tool.
Each mailbox you add to the account adds 1.25GB of storage to your overall quota which is shared globally across your account at this time. Similarly, adding hosting will increase your quota by a certain amount but usage is shared between mail, web files, and files stored in your home directory / FTP.
Also note, if you have added enough services such that your quota is greater than 10GB, a single mailbox has a hard limit of approximately 10GB. Once the hard quota is reached, messages to that mailbox will start bouncing back to the sender.
If you were to add additional
mailboxes to your account at this time, for each one you add you will see your quota increase by 1.25GB.

Thanks for the info. I wish all the quota information were more transparent on the website.

According to
https://wiki.sonic.net/wiki/Email_account "Each mailbox has a limit 1.25 GB of email storage." Perhaps that page should be updated.
