Sonic.net

I am using Secure CRT Version 7.3.7 (x64 build 1034) to connect to shell.sonic.net. When I try to connect, I receive the message:
"The client has disconnected from the server.
Reason: Protocol version mismatch. Required protocol version is 1.3 - 1.99. Received version was 2.0."

My last confirmed connection was on April 13, with no problems noted. Can you help?

Hi Thom,

The hostname shell.sonic.net was updated to point to the new shell server on 4/18 as discussed here on the forums.

That version of SecureCRT should support SSH 2.0.

Can you check the connection properties and ensure that Protocol is set to "ssh2"?

This should be located in the first category secction under the "Connection", near the connection name and Hostname options.

Thank you! I tried the same ssh2 earlier today, but without a connection. When I plugged it in this evening, VOILA!
