Double the fusion to 40M

Hi,
Seems the hotline takes forever today so post my q here:
I am in Millbrae and on the 20M plan using a Netgear N300 ( NETGEAR RangeMax Wireless-N300 Gigabit Router with USB WNR3500L).
My question is:
1) is 40M supported i Millbrae?
2) what's needed to get that?
3) any idea will my N300 wireless router support that 40M, as I know some router can only handle so much bandwidth?
