When playing one online game (Dice with Buddies) on a tablet connected to our router & modem, my wife gets a message in the game saying she needs a valid internet connection. I dl'd that same game onto an ipad and got the same error msg - I'm not a gamer so that is all lost on me. She says she has talked at length with the game developer for fixes, including unplugging power cords and data cords from the modem & router, letting them sit, and then plugging them back in.

Any suggestions? And yes, its only that one game.

Do other devices on the same wifi (but not using the game) lose their connections?

When she gets that message in the game is she able to minimize the game and access the Internet? This would narrow down whether the problem is the device's connection or the game itself.
