Hello Sonic,

Any update on whether Gigabit fiber service will be expanded to the Panhandle/NOPA in the next year or two? Finding it hard to wait!!

this past week (12/26-12/29), i saw several AT&T crews working on Hayes Street between Fell and Fulton. I asked the workers if they were laying fiber, and they said "Yes, we're upgrading the neighborhood."

Sonic, is there any plan to upgrade the neighborhood to Fiber in the near future?

We're expanding fiber reach all around SF, but I don't have any specifics for that street. Note that today at least, we cannot build underground in SF, as they do not allow new trenchless utility construction there at this time. So, homes with aerial utilities are the focus for now.
