How do I change access to my website such that it is accessed using https instead of http?

I have a couple of Drupal websites hosted by Sonic where my visitors log in to access data. I want the log in and screens where they see data to be secure. This isn't big time financial data but info that is private to user.

Also, I want access to the admin pages to be secure as well.

I'm cost sensitive since this are not big money makers. I just want to offer password security.

Bob, first you need to purchase a secure certificate from a certificate provider ( Sonic.net is not one ), then if you upgraded to the Custom Hosting product ( by contacting support@sonic.net ) which is currently $38/mo., we could install the certificate you purchased.
