Hello,

I sent a fax using the 'Send a Fax' feature at 13:46 this afternoon. However, at this time (15:50) the status still shows as "in out-queue." The fax was a 2-page 736kb .pdf document. Could someone from Sonic.net please give me some guidance as to when the fax will send?

As info, I called the support line and they suggested that I post this question here.

Thanks for the report. It looks like the outbound fax queues got wedged on what is probably a broken remote fax machine. The bad fax has been manually failed and removed from the queues and we'll catch up pretty quickly now.

Meanwhile, the Send a Fax feature has been used to send 18,001 faxes since it's launch. (This is the first time the queue's blocked in this way - something that we'll fix up next week.)

Wow, that's a surprisingly large number of fax transmissions! Rumors of the death of fax seem to be premature.
