Cannot receive incoming faxes

Faxes sent don't get here. I can see that these faxes were sent with View History but 0 pages come through and no notification happens here. Also, sender says her fax machine made several attempts and stopped trying. I sent a fax to myself using the online feature which happened.

If possible, can you ask the sender to tell you what happens when she dials the number from a voice line? I'd also be interested in the make and model of her fax machine as well as what telephone service it is plugged in to.

When I dial the fax number, I get a familiar fax sound. I will check with the person who is faxing me to see if she does also. The fax machine she is using is a printer/ copier/ fax - HP M1319f MFP. An odd machine - the driver has had to be redone several times but she uses it for faxing continuously. Still not able to receive faxes in March 2012
