PDF error: TCPDF_PARSER ERROR: Invalid object reference: Array

I keep getting this message after I download a pdf to fax. The latest one was 2.9MB. Is that too big? What does the error mean? Tech support is clueless.

This means that there might be an error with the some part of the document or it doesn't totally follow the PDF spec and contains some issues that are a problem for a portion of our fax tool. This error means that the document contains a reference to an object (like a graphic, font, or data stream) that doesn't exist.
A PDF repair tool (several free online utilities for this exist) might be able to clean up the document so that doesn't happen again.
Something like this won't usually prevent a PDF reader from totally viewing the file, but can cause problems for some tools that are set not to ignore it.
