hi,

a primary purpose for having/using our shell accounts @ shell.sonic.net is "having an offsite Linux server available for testing purposes".

very nice/useful to have.

it appears that the shell servers are only IPv4 enabled -- no IPv6 access or tools (e.g., ping6) available.

is this correct? if so, i'd like to request enabling IPv6 for the shell servers -- or at least one that we can specifically request access to.

thanks!

IPv6 is enabled on our shell server, but we have purposely disabled ping6 from from being used by customers.

ok, ipv6 is enabled, but 'ping6' is n/a. apparenly, 'tracepath6' isn't enabled either.

for "testing" use, what specific tools ARE available for ipv6 from/at our shell accounts? is there documentation available?

thanks.
