Webmail was unavailable without warning for a while this morning--I'm guessing to install a new version? The new version no longer shows the folders in a collapsible hierarchy. Can we have that back?

I also request that when there are outages you post them immediately on the status page. It would save the users some trouble.

(My login is motet)

If one right-clicks on a folder name and picks "Collapse all folders", nothing happens.

We haven't deployed any changes to webmail since July 29th. This morning there was some heavy load on the IMAP cluster which was probably what the unavailability was due to.

I just tested and collapse all folders worked okay for me but I don't have many nested folders. What browser and operating system are you using?

You can try to reload all the webmail files by pressing Control-F5 on the main window. This will reload all dependent files and effectively update any cached files that may be causing problems.

I had a folder structure like

Code: Select all

Inbox
Sent
Archive
  2015
    Sent
  2016
    Sent
Everything has been flattened to

Code: Select all

Inbox
Sent
Archive
Archive.2015
Archive.2015.Sent
Archive.2016
Archive.2016.Sent
This suddenly happened this morning with no changes on my part. I can rename and put them back, I guess, but why did it happen?

Hold off on renaming them for now so we can investigate this. The folder names haven't changed but possibly an IMAP cache file or something else that happened this morning affected your account. I'm checking now to see what might be going on.

Can you try logging out of webmail now and then logging back in and see if the folders are appearing correctly?
