So I went to create a new mailing list for my synagogue, through their Sonic account. I created one a couple of weeks ago and they asked me to create another tonight. But I can't! There is a new rule that mailing list names must be at least 9 characters long. Why on earth??

I have many many Sonic lists through various accounts and most of them are 8 or fewer characters.

I get that short names are likely to be taken but why not allow names that are free, regardless of length?

Why do you care? Why has this changed? Can you change it back?
