Same fine print crap as Comcast, AT&T.

I read earlier an interview with Dane Jasper, CEO of Sonic, and his dishing of other ISP's fine print on mandatory 12-month contracts, cancellation fees, etc.

And here I am just as I am about to order Sonic for my new place in San Jose ( 20mbs), I see the same similar fine print.
Twelve (12) month term requirement
Sonic Internet services require a twelve (12) month service agreement. If you cancel your service before the agreement expires, you will be subject to an Early Termination Fee of one hundred forty-nine dollars ($149) or the remaining monthly charges...
What has Sonic turned into? At the price Sonic is charging $40 + fees ($53+/month), I might as well go with AT&T or Comcast.

Where can one find a decent month to month option?

Come Nov. 1 there will be a large print in California among 18 other states: Comcast will implement transfer caps.
