I got an email saying that Sonic fiber is coming soon.

I check the availabilty page and it says April 2017?????

I too just noticed this and am SUPER excited.
Did you notice that last week Sonic added the fiber junction box to the telephone pole on the intersection of 18th and Kirkham?

Sonic, if by any chance you want some houses to be early adopters and test the fiber before it is ready I will be happy to volunteer! I can almost reach out my window and touch the new fiber line.

I saw comcast working on one of the poles at 18th and kirkham for a few days. Haven't seen Sonic there yet.


A bit disappointed that fiber isn't available yet considering the CO is at 19th and kirkham.

Unfortunately no other choice but to wait. Now that Google Fiber is all but dead.....

This is our current projected timeline for delivery of services to your neighborhood as it was part of a separate phase of our buildout. Although this is indeed very close to one of the CO's it was not included in the current stage of the buildout because it is East of 20th Ave where the current buildout for the Sunset and Outer Sunset districts begins on it's eastern end. The Inner Sunset is part of a deployment that we will be working on early next year. Do keep an eye on our availability page (sonic.com/availability) for updates on our projected time of arrival.
