Hello!
My name is Konstantin Neudachin and my current address is 333 lake st., San Francisco. Three weeks ago I a got letter from Sonic which said that I can set up fiber internet at my location. I was using 250mbs Comcast plan so I was more than happy to get that letter because Comcast was extremely bad sometimes. The same day I visited Sonic's website to check my location and to sign a contract. They told me they will come and set up the box for fiber in a few days and then will come for installation. After a week I called support and they told me that there was a mistake or something and they forgot about me so the box will come in few days again. It was like a week and a half before August 3 ( Last day of the Comcast internet for me ). In like 5 days I called them again and they told me that box was installed on my address and we scheduled an appointment for August 3 from 12 to 3. Then the strangest things that I ever seen was happened to me. The guy came on time August 3rd and for about an hour was looking for the box on my house to connect me. After missed attempts in finding the box and calls to office he said that they installed the box on the wrong house. I asked the guy to call another person to install the box right away and connect me the same day because I would be out of internet and I really need it for my job also I was already waiting for almost 3 weeks. He said he can't do it the same day because of roadworks which end on friday on my street. So he said he will come on friday. Fine. After like 10 minutes when he already left I decided to go ask the workers on the street about the roadworks and they told me that the road will be totally clear today in 1 hour. So the guy just wanted to go to the next customer instead of solving my problem. Sadness. I called Sonic and asked them to come back and solve my problem. After 40 minutes on hold they told me that fiber internet is unavailable at my location! Can you imagine? The support guy just told me to close my contract! How easy for them to just drop me off with my problems! I was kinda surprised. After that I had more than 6 calls to this company and after hours on hold I still don't know what's going on. I'm waiting for a supervisor to call me for more than 48 hours. Every single guy from support told me completely different things and my location is still available for fiber on sonic.net. I got it - looks like Sonic is the one of those companies that doesn't care about customers at all but tell them other things instead to let them think sonic is good. I have a feeling that they just put me on some hold list and just waiting for when I will close the contract, but I will not. They promised fiber internet for me and I'm still waiting for it. I have no internet now but 4G and I need it for my job! I loosing my time and my money because nobody cares, nobody can't just come and check whats going on here. But as usual after todays call they told me that everybody aware and problem is solving , I'm number 1 in line and a high priority client because of my situation - just the words, nothing happening here at all. I just need an internet, that's all.
