Mb/s went down a few days after install

I'm located in the outer Sunset in SF, About a week ago when my Sonic service was installed the speed test was around 85 Mb/s which was nice. However the next day it was clocking at around 22 Mb/s where it has been ever since (which is about the same as the Uverse DSL I had before).
What happened? How do I get back the faster speeds?

Restarting the device your having problems on is always a good first step if you haven't already. Outside of that, are you connecting via Ethernet cable or Wireless?

Thanks for following up. I have rebooted the router. My initial & follow up speed tests were all done over wifi with an iPad.

Are you having the same issue across all Wireless devices, or just that iPad? And I apologize, I meant to ask if we've power-cycled the iPad itself since you've noticed the decrease in speed.

Ok Looks like it was just my iPad, just tried it on my iPhone 6 and it was 196 mb/s down, and 101 mb/s up. Thanks!

Hello,
Six days ago, day of install, I was getting 52 Mbps download and 21 Mbps upload via wifi on my 6 year old Dell laptop. Now I'm getting this:

16 Mbps down and 16 Mbps up
I have restarted the laptop & router with no change in speeds. Any advice?

Yes, System speed down to 9.2 yesterday. I am in Sunset of SF.

Have you tried giving our technical support a call? They are typically the fastest way to diagnose an issue and get you up and running

Otherwise, what troubleshooting steps have you taken so far? As stated above, powercycling the device as well as the router is always a good first step. Also, if you have a Pace 5268AC, are you connecting via 5Ghz or 2.4Ghz? If you haven't separated the two channels yet, that would help in troubleshooting.
