Hi,

I finally installed the OpenVPN client on my devices this Thursday.

How do I prevent it from launching automatically every time I boot my Windows 7 notebook?

Since I'm on a trusted network all but two days a month, it's normally not needed, and loading it at boot time unnecessarily slows the overall boot process.

I searched through settings, both in the tray icon, as well as when launched from the Start menu, and I can't find any way to disable this.

Can anyone advise? ...thanks!

You don't find anything in {HKLM,HKCU}\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run?
If there's nothing there, then it may be as simple as in Start > All Programs > Startup.

Thanks. Yes, it appears that it's in the Startup group. I just assumed there'd be a setting somewhere in the program to give me the option, and that I was overlooking it.
