I'm currently using the OpenVPN client for Windows that's on ovpn.sonic.net (https://ovpn.sonic.net/generic/openvpn- ... 18.202.msi), but I see that the latest version of the OpenVPN client on the OpenVPN site is https://swupdate.openvpn.org/community/ ... x86_64.exe.

I downloaded and installed the more recent client but found I then had two separate clients installed, "OpenVPN Connect" and "OpenVPN GUI" (or something similar).

Is there an updated version of the Windows client that Sonic supports and that supports Sonic? Should the updated client I installed have worked but I missed a step?

Thanks in advance.

On Windows I've only used the OpenVPN Connect application that is offered on the login screen and I haven't had any issues with it. It is the latest release of that application. But, you should feel free to use whichever client works best for you. One of the reasons that we selected OpenVPN is the flexibility it provides end users.

To add to this, I also use OpenVPN GUI on Windows which I downloaded independently from the Sonic OpenVPN site. I've used it for years without issue and I've used it pretty extensively with Sonic's VPN and have had no issues with it.
