Just wondering if this within an expected range or if contacting support might be a viable option. Don't want to bother them for nothing.

I just took a look at your line and with the small amount of data collected so far, it appears that you are getting the best speed at your location. As always, there is more to the potential speed than distance alone. I suggest waiting for another 24 hours so we can collect some more data and then shoot an e-mail to support@sonic.net and ask for us to look at the line again. It is possible that the data collected will tell us something that may help us to push the line a bit faster.

That does seem quite low - certainly well below the bottom percentile, based upon the stats for customers at that distance. Typical at that range is almost double what you're getting.

But, distance isn't the only factor, so YMMV. It could be affected by your household wiring, the quality of the modem, settings (Do you have an ADSL1 modem?) interference and much more.

As Tage suggests, give it another day to gather stats, then give us a call!
