Sonic uses MailChimp for promotions?

My spam filter on spamassassin caught an ad with the following subject line

"Take Sonic to work and get a free year of home service!"

It does seem legit, just seemed odd that sonic.net would be using Mail Chimp to advertise this to its customers. I normally read MOTD, and a link from a MOTD to a page on sonic.net would have been appropriate. But it took only a few moments of going through the headers on this one.
Times they be achanging.

Sonic.net's growth is a good thing IMO, especially if shell services will be maintained. I hope it doesn't mean more cutting back on shell services in the future and turning yet another ISP into another comcast.net. Years ago if I needed a tweak on sonic shell I got prompt support from [email protected] don't often write [email protected], but fewer employees seem to know much about the shell anymore.

Anyway, I thought I'd post this, to get it off my mind.

We've used Mail Chimp for newsletters and other similar activities for many years.

Thank you Kelsey. It's the first time I got it in the spam box, and I've never noted MailChimp Sonic promotions before. I appreciate your follow up.
