I am trying to test the FTP space Sonic gives customers and am unable to log in.

I created the folders at members.sonic.net/account/server_dirs/ and it shows:

CGI /usr/local/lib/httpd/cgi-bin/mfeemster
FTP /ftp/pub/users/mfeemster
WEB /home/WWW_pages/mfeemster

I use WinSCP to connect to ftp.sonic.net and it keeps telling me access is denied. I'm positive I typed my password in correctly.

Is there anything else that I need to do in order to enable the FTP service for my account? I'm guessing I missed something.

Thanks.

I think WinSCP defaults to using SCP (over SSH), so that's probably why it's not working. You may need to set the connection type as FTP or SFTP. Let me know if that doesn't work.
