I can never remember my voice mail PIN. I can log into members.sonic.net and reset it, but that means generating a new one which is quickly forgotten. Is it that bad an idea security-wise to be able to show the old one instead, given that the voice mails are also in a Sonic email folder so someone able to log into the member's account can also access the voice mails even without the PIN? It would be more convenient that way. Thanks.
It would likely be less secure to show the current pin, but I can't answer that authoritatively. Hopefully someone else more informed can chime in.
If you set your pin to something like your birth year, or birthday + year, or even the last 4 digits of your CC or SSN, it might help you to remember your pin.
