We just upgraded our Sonic service and ended up with a Pace 5168N-110 modem/router combo. In the process, our networked printer became inaccessible. After some fussing around and manual configuration, I have it working again, but I wonder why it didn't "just work" as it always had on other routers. Maybe something on the Pace could/should have been configured differently?
When I say that it "just worked" in the past — using Apple Time Capsules as our router and connecting the printer (a Brother HL-5250DN) via ethernet to the router — I mean that when the add printer routine was invoked from OS X's System Preferences (> Printers & Fax > click "+"), the Brother printer would show up under the "Default" tab of the "Add" window. Which meant that any guests on our network had a pretty easy route to using our printer to print their boarding passes or what-have-you.
With the Pace combo serving as the router, I have only been able to get things with some extra steps:

Hope someone finds this helpful.
If you know what I could have configured differently on the Pace unit to make the printer automatically discoverable, let me know!

With the Pace combo serving as the router, I have only been able to get things with some extra steps:
- Go to the Pace's configuration (http://gateway.sonic.net)
- Find the printer and click on "Device Details"
- Copy the printer's numerical IP address
- Click the add printer "+" in OS X System Preferences > Printers & Fax
- Click the "IP" tab in the resulting dialog
- Enter the printer's IP address, name printer as desired
