I've got several WordPress blogs hosted on Sonic, and now that I've backed up the databases I'd like to upgrade to the latest version of WP software. However, here's the notice I see on the "WordPress Updates" page of the CreativeContentCoaching.com dashboard:
You cannot update because WordPress 3.2.1 requires PHP version 5.2.4 or higher. You are running version 4.4.9.
Can this be solved by adding to the .htaccess file? Currently it reads thusly:
# BEGIN WordPress
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
</IfModule>
# END WordPress
Thanks,
Anne
