As said, I cant update or download anything on any of my android devices at home over wifi.

Over 4G everything is fine.

I have:
Re logged into my google accounts on all devices
Cleared caches on the play app on all devices
Re installed play app on all devices
Factory reset both phones
Reset my modem/router

My only next logical conclusion is that the problems are stemming from the ISP.

Do you have IPv6 enabled? Mysteriously lost/blocked traffic seems to be a common complaint with Sonic's 6rd setup, and Google favors IPv6.

I'm seeing the same thing. I stopped by Safeway a few minutes ago and was able to update an app using their wifi. I'm back home now and it still isn't working through Sonic.

Google Play services not working on wifi for me too

This is pretty bad. I looked in the logcat, and I saw a bunch of "Connection refused" from DownloadManager, one of which was to: https://r3---sn-nvopjoxu-25ve.gvt1.com

This was resolved to 184.23.168.50, which is mousetrap.sonic.net.

Then when I go to http://mousetrap.sonic.net, I think I see what's happening. Sonic.net has blocked Google Play! Surely it's an accident...? That URL *does* look shady, but it can't be...

So yeah, the workaround is not to use Sonic.net DNS servers. Override them on your router or phone. One simple alternative is to use Google's: 8.8.8.8 and 4.4.4.4.

Works for me.

You can still use Sonic, which *might* be faster since they are closer. For the non-mousetrap set you have:

# These name servers are recursive only, and do NOT have DNSSEC nor RPZ enabled.
nameserver 75.101.19.196
nameserver 75.101.19.228

This has been resolved and we're currently investigating what led the domain to get into the blacklist.
