Unable to change email in Forum's User Control Panel

I'm unable to change my email address in the Forum's User Control Panel. Here's what I'm doing:
1. Go to the Forum Board Index.
2. Log in successfully.
3. Go to User Control Panel > Profile > Edit account settings.
4. Enter a new email address in both fields and click Submit.
--->At this point an error is returned: "You did not enter your current password." But there was no field for entering a password! Please advise how to change my email address.
