Hi, Thank you for help in advance. Sonic Support recommended I post this here in case someone has a solution. I just upgrade to Sonic X2 (2 circuits) service and the original modem (Pace Model 4111N-30) was upgraded to the Pace 5168N-110. The interface is very similar, the new router able to handle 2 circuits. Here is the issue, I need to forward 3 ports (??, ???0 and ???1 where ??? is just the rest of the port number). I set this up on the original 4111N device without issue, however, on the 5168N I can only get 2 ports to OPEN and the ???0 remains closed. Here is what I've done and tried:

1. Under Firewall Pinhole settings I created the User Defined Application with one for each port just as I did in the original Model 4111N where it worked. I selected the device (computer) to which is will port forward, create the User Defined App by entering a name, adding the Port No. twice for the range (ex. 1010 to 1010) and leaving the other settings blank and added them to the selected computer. Each time I get a Successful Configuration message and I also click the save at the bottom of the page. For 2 of the ports I see the port open after the change but the 3rd one ???0 does not open.
2. I changed the physical connection at the Modem to see if that would resolve the issue and no luck.
3. I tried the same ports configured to another computer and the exact same issue persisted where 2 ports forward and ???0 remains closed.
4. I also tried adding an additional pinhole to ???2 and it would not open either.

It is important to maintain the same port numbers being forwarded. I'm wondering if it is limiting it to only 2 ports forwarding to a device but haven't tested this theory yet. Maybe someone knows the issue? Tech support says there is not an alternate firmware available for the modem. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm thinking that this is a bad modem and returning the device, however, I'm reaching out here first.

Is it always the same ???0 (and ???2 in your tests) that is closed? Maybe you can test if there is a conflict between existing applications/rules defined in the GW by opening port ???0 only and see if it works.

Would you mind specifying exactly what ports you're opening? I used the interface as you specified to open 3 ports (80, 8080, and 8081) and found they were opened without issue.

Another user discovered some problems with hairpin routing (viewtopic.php?f=10&t=2738) so please make sure you're not attempting to test port forwarding by addressing the public IP address from behind the Pace.
