I just upgraded from Sonic Legacy to Sonic Fusion.
I used it for two hours and when I was using Google for an ordinary search, Firefox said "This connection is untrusted". I was able to get around it.

I know this is generated by Firefox, but I've been using it for years and just saw it for the first time, and I just upgraded to Fusion. Why would it happen?

This shows the dialog box:
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/co ... he-warning

BTW I have Windows7 and it showed me the yellow triangle on the network icon - that would be Sonic's doing and not Firefox.

To ask another way, is it just a coincidence that I got this message the first time and I just now upgraded to Fusion?

Just coincidence.
If you see a mousetrap page, that's difference.
You are encountering something different, a site with a bad security certificate.
