Including an Attachment in Outlook 10 Mail impairs sending

This arose out of the blue: Outlook 10 will not send email with an attachment, however small.

I have used Outlook 10 seemingly forever; never ever a problem.

It's as if there's a "ball of hair clogging the drain" and neither I nor Sonic's finest tech support help could figure it out. The workaround was to send the attachments from Webmail.

That is suboptimal.

Any ideas what could be going on???

Are you sending mail from another ISP or while connected to sonic?
