the recipient reports that they received the fax not just once, but 5 times!

any ideas? in addition to status "failed", the message says "Unknown Status".

thanks!

The problem is that the call is dropping unexpectedly before we've received final confirmation that the fax was received successfully by the remote fax machine. We have a new release of software that we're going to push out in the next few days that we expect to significantly improve successful transmission - once that's out, this is is the next bug that gets squashed.

Just got five time fail message. Dr office received parts of several pages. Sent the three pages by email. What gives lately? This happened to me on several recent short, local faxes. 177

I had a big problem last week, when sending an important fax,
it appeared to be in transmission for a long long time ... six times in succession.
All I could do was wait, keep reading transmission status on the history page, and worry.
Ultimately I received the failure notification via email :

At that point I wrote a request to Sonic.net Support, asking whether they could determine
anything about this issue, i.e. on which page (number) in the transmission it kept getting stuck.

This morning I received a response from Sonic.net Support,
saying they can't look into it and that I need to post in this forum.
So that's what I am doing. What can you do to help in this situation?

So the failure that I have logs for is on December 4th at 17:49. If I'm reading this correctly, I see 10 transferred pages, but I'm going to have to take this to someone who understands the details of the phone switch to better understand what we expected so that I can change the code to give you a more helpful result.
