This is a bad practice, and you should have this part set to the same as the other accounts (there's really no reason why it shouldn't work, unless you had a typo in your username/password). Not using encryption is like leaving all of your doors and windows unlocked
and wide open in a bad crime area ....
You can probably -- maybe -- get away with this, as long as you only do this from home.
However, if you use this at, say, a public internet hotspot, you're potentially opening yourself up to having your account/identity stolen.
