I'm moving to Pleasant Hill next month and am now looking at my internet options... I am assuming the DSL or cable are my only choices and that there is no Fiber there yet. Are my assumptions correct?

Yes, afraid so. Sonic offers Fusion service out of Concord, but it doesn't reach many areas of Pleasant Hill. Sorry!

Any update on Pleasant Hill now that Walnut Creek and Concord are lighting up?

Yes, we're actually in the middle of construction and taking pre-orders for new customers in the area! You can check your address and request fiber by going to www.sonic.com/availability.

In Pleasant Hill? I tied a bunch of addresses around the city and it looks like just Walnut Creek and Concord have construction pages. All of pleasant hill just says not yet.

Try an address on Oak Park Blvd, I'm seeing a pre order page. That and the giant figure 8's of fiber hanging on the poles this week is a good sign construction is happening.

AT&T fiber might be available. If not, Astound is great and light years ahead of Comcast.

We are actually on Oak Park. Just tried a bunch of addresses and it looks like it's stopping at Monte Cresta for now. We're down at the end of Oak Park so hopefully it'll expand soon!

Looks like I was wrong on the fiber that was being pulled last week. From the Pleasant Hill permit website it was actually CableCom overlashing for Wave/Astound.

But still, the pre-order pages on part of Oak Park is a good sign.
