Mapping objects on zte zxv10 w300 modem

Hi: I've got a Safe@Office 1000NP router connected to my ZTE ZXV10 w300 modem/router. From the S@O, I can ping computer/objects on the ZTE but not the reverse. Though I can ping them (from the S@O), I can't map objects on the ZTE to W Explorer. From the ZTE I can't ping the S@O or anything connected to that LAN. i've created a rule on the S@O that should allow two way unrestricted coms, but made no difference in the above.
I'm thinking the problem is the configuration of the ZTE. Obviously there's no problem with Internet traffic to & from the ZTE & S@O. The S@O has IPs of > 192.168.10.1 and the ZTE > 192.168.1.1 if that's critical information... . I'm not very good with networks. Would creating a bridge on the ZTE solve my problem? If so, how do I do that?
Many thanks!
George
