Woohoo! Again, the EFF rates Sonic.net as 6 stars for protecting its customers privacy.

I am quite glad to see that Sonic isn't so lonely in the 5-star category anymore. Last year it was just them and twitter, now there's 9 companies!

I think it is great and ethical what Sonic does (protects consumer privacy), but perhaps it would be wise to stop advertising the philosophy. While it may attract new customers, it would probably also attract the attention of certain three letter agencies and put a target on Sonic and its lines. Just my $0.02.
